Ujjain | With preparations for the Simhastha Mahaparva 2028 gathering momentum, Chief Minister’s Office Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Gopal Dad carried out an inspection of the traditional Peshwai route on Wednesday. He was accompanied by Pawan Kumar Singh, Additional Commissioner of the Ujjain Municipal Corporation.

The inspection focused on ensuring that the procession routes of all 13 Akharas remain clear and accessible during the grand event. Of these, seven belong to the Shaiva sect, three to the Udasin sect, and three to the Vaishnav sect.

The Peshwai procession will follow its traditional path, passing through Teen Batti, Tower Chowk, Dewas Gate, Daulatganj, Gada Pulia, Kanthal, Teliwada, Khak Chowk, and finally reaching Ramghat via Chhoti Rapat.

Officials, including Assistant Engineer Shyam Sharma, were present during the inspection to assess road conditions and identify potential improvement areas.
