PM Modi to Take Holy Dip at Mahakumbh in Prayagraj

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the historic Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj on February 5, 2024. The PM will arrive at the event around 11 am and take a holy dip at the Sangam, the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers. He will also offer prayers to River Ganga, marking a significant spiritual moment. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will accompany the Prime Minister during this visit.

Schedule and Itinerary

According to officials, PM Modi will arrive in Prayagraj at 10 am and proceed to the DPS helipad. From there, he will travel to the VIP Ghat at Sangam via the Nishadraj Cruise. The Prime Minister is expected to stay at the site for about an hour, during which he will perform the holy dip and offer prayers.

Changes in the Itinerary

Earlier plans included visits to the State Pavilion and Netra Kumbh, but these have been omitted from the updated schedule. There is no official confirmation yet on whether PM Modi will visit other significant spiritual sites such as Akshayvat, Saraswati Koop, and Bade Hanuman Mandir.
