CM Mohan Yadav Inspects Rajsi Sawari Marg Widening for Simhastha 2028

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited Ujjain on August 20, 2026, to inspect the widening of the Rajsi Sawari Marg — the route Lord Mahakal's royal procession takes through Kanthal Square, Sati Gate, and Gopal Mandir. The 410-metre stretch from Kanthal Square to Chhatri Chowk is being widened to 15 metres, with 310 metres of PCC road already done. Residents and traders voluntarily removed encroachments to speed the work. The inspection also covered the new Collector's Office building coming up at a cost of Rs. 134.97 crore.
