On February 1, Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and a delegation of 73 diplomats and foreign guests also attended the Maha Kumbh.
Upcoming Key Bathing Dates
The three Amrit Snans have concluded, but two more auspicious bathing days are scheduled for February 12 and 26. Authorities anticipate a surge in pilgrim numbers on these dates.
Security and Infrastructure Measures
The Uttar Pradesh government has ensured stringent security through drone surveillance, CCTV monitoring, and efficient transport management. Despite these measures, a tragic stampede on January 29 claimed 30 lives and injured 60. A judicial probe is underway to investigate the incident.
